Vicarage Bungalow Renovation Project Description:

The plot that this property occupies is truly special, sitting at the foot of the Bolton Moors it has breathtaking views and a spacious but secluded lovely secret garden, what it did not have was a property to match the location. The existing property was a blue clad, flat roof 1960’s traditional bungalow, which had never been updated since construction. Our brief was to create a 3 bedroom family home of a quality that matched the location with the inclusion of additional first floor accommodation.

The new home has been crafted to create a blend of rustic cottage style bricks with sleek silica white render, the open expanses of glazing to the southern windows and doors have been designed in a anthracite grey finish to add to the contemporary twist to the property. The rear of the house has been specifically designed around the large corner window, which is specifically located to take advantage of the remarkable views over the countryside and moorland as you walk into the spacious light filled space.

The open plan family spaces open up onto the patio area that links nicely to the secret garden for our clients children to explore. The large sliding doors to the rear allow the garden space to become one with the home and floods the property in natural daylight. The creation of a first floor provides the space for a luxurious master bedroom suite with an exquisite bathroom and two further children’s bedrooms.

This home is now truly equal to its setting.
