Studio SDA Architecture are looking for a technically strong Part 2 Architectural Assistant / Architectural Technologist with 3-5 years UK experience (Post Graduation) to engage with all aspects of our unique and exciting projects, predominantly between RIBA Stages 0 – 4.

 

We are a unique, award-winning studio located in Chorley, Lancashire.

 

Primary duties:

• Production of drawings, presentations and documentation to assist with RIBA Stages 0-3.
• Production of technical design information for RIBA Stages 4-5, including but not limited to drawings, schedules and specifications.
• Liaising with a variety of external consultants and coordinating information.

 

The successful candidate must have:

• A passion for good design and enthusiastic approach to its delivery.
• Understanding of the RIBA Stages and their criteria.
• Experience in delivery of projects between RIBA stages 0-4.
• Strong and current knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
• Experience in dealing with discharge of statutory approvals and conditions.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent timekeeping, and an ability to meet deadlines.
• An eye for detail and ability to articulate into high-quality solutions.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks in achieving team deadlines.
• Experience in high-end quality design and detailed schemes.
• Good understanding of sustainable design.
• Work as part of a team.

 

Advanced Software Knowledge of:

• AutoCad
• Adobe CC
• Sketchup
