10 YEARS YOUNG – SDA Architecture rebrands to StudioSDA and opens new state of the art studio on 10 year anniversary

Due to the unprecedented success of StudioSDA over the past decade, our team is expanding with the inclusion of three new members to our experienced design team.

Over the past two years, StudioSDA has had some amazing business-enhancing events take place, no more than being awarded Best Residential Architecture Practice at the Northern Design Awards (NDA’s) in 2016 and again retaining the title in 2017, making a little piece of NDA history. These highly prestigious accolades have allowed StudioSDA to be launched into the public arena for delivering exceptional residential architecture in the luxury market place including successfully gaining planning consent approvals in complex areas such as Green Belt and, more recently, gaining approval for a paragraph55 dwelling based on special circumstances, that being the exceptional design.

In 2017, we decided to continue our development and set our targets of trying to retain the title at the NDA with the opportunity to cement our place within the elite architecture practices in the UK. During a cold winter’s evening at the Principal Hotel in Manchester, we became two-time winners of the Best Residential Architecture Practice 2017, making StudioSDA history makers by winning the award back to back.

Also, in 2017, we relocated to our head office studio, with over 2,800sqft of creative space. We feel our studio now allows our designers, clients and partners to enjoy and fully embrace themselves in the StudioSDA experience.

Now that we have entered our 10 year anniversary, we have decided to reinvent SDA Architecture Ltd into StudioSDA with exciting new branding and marketing taking place as we speak, including a new studio in Cheshire.

Due to the overwhelming success of SDA over the last decade, we are excited to see what the studio can achieve, especially with our recent expansion into the luxury commercial sectors.

As a family-run husband and wife business, Katie and I would like to thank everyone who followed us, liked our work and supported us through great commissions.

Onwards and Upwards!
